In the course of my own healing work and my own illnesses I was introduced to the potentially devastating effects of toxins on the body. The toxins I refer to are those in our water, in our personal care products and in household detergents. It was at this stage that I was introduced to a company that produces a complete range of products that have absolutely no carcinogenic substances whatsoever in their formulations. The company, Neways, produces viable alternatives for all cleaning preparations used in the house, for all bathroom products including toothpaste, shampoo, conditioners, deodorant, skin care products as well as an extremely comprehensive range of colloidal vitamin and mineral supplements.
For the last three years I have witnessed astounding results both with my clients as well as my own family, so much so that I have become something of a missionary as far as ridding people of toxins is concerned. The rate at which our body is being bombarded by chemicals is increasing exponentially. Between 1965 and 1982 over 4,000,000 new chemical compounds were formulated. Since then some 6,000 new chemicals are formulated every week. Approximately 3,000 of these have been formulated for use as additives in our food. Is it any wonder that cancer is rampant, Alzheimer’s is epidemic, that our children suffer ADD, that MS is now a household name and so called ‘old’ diseases are reappearing?
Even our drinking water is contaminated to the extent that in the River Aire, which runs between Bradford and Leeds, all roach caught are female! The minute quantities of hormones from the Pill and HRT which find their way through the toilet to our rivers, which are then a source for our drinking water, are sufficient to change the sex of fish. If it does this to fish, what is it doing to us – could it be a contributory factor in the decreasing fertility of the western nations?
Imagine how dangerous your bathroom is. Your gums bleed, so your dentist advises you to brush them harder, forcing more chemicals into your damaged tissue (fluoride causes florosis of the teeth and skeletal deterioration / osteoporosis). You then wash your mouth out with a mouthwash containing alcohol, thought to be the biggest cause of oral cancer. You go into a warm shower which opens up your skin pores, then massage shampoo containing carcinogenic chemicals into it (sodium laurel sulphate) . You massage the same chemicals, known to cause hair loss, into your hair. You then use an antiperspirant containing aluminium (even though it’s linked to such things as Alzheimer’s and breast cancer) and propylene glycol (antifreeze) a known skin irritant. A recent study showed that one shampooing can put more nitrate into your blood than eating a pound of bacon. The skin is a huge sponge. Rub a raw garlic clove on your toe, and you can taste it within minutes.
Eat a balanced diet we are told – plenty of fresh vegetables etc. But just because a tomato is red and an apple is green doesn’t mean to say that they have anything like the mineral content that they used to have. It is a fact that the mineral content of vegetables has dropped almost 50% in the last 40 years. So we expose our body to the ravages of chemicals but the body has difficulty defending itself because it no longer gets the raw materials it needs to combat this assault.
All in all, it is becoming very scary. However there are safer alternatives and there are supplements that can assist us in surviving. If you are interested then you can either order these products via myself or alternatively (and more sensibly) sign up as a distributor then you can purchase the products at wholesale price and retail them to your colleagues & friends. In addition to the retail markup you will also receive 10% of the value of the goods ordered as a commission payment provided you spend £75 per month – this amount is made up of products for your own use and those that you purchase for retail purposes. Remember, choosing healthy products from Neways or carcinogenic products from Tesco is simply a question of which supplier you trust. Start reading the labels!
